As a small artisanal business, the careful handling of your data is particularly important to us. We comply with Swiss data protection laws (DSG) and, where applicable, GDPR. Here we explain transparently how we use your data when you visit our website or place an order.
For your order, we need your name, email address, and delivery address. For payment, we use the secure service Stripe. We also store technical information such as browser type to display our website optimally.
We mainly use your data to process your order and inform you about shipping. With your consent, we'll also send you our newsletter with news from our manufactory. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We protect your data as best as possible through modern security measures. However, since no internet transmission can be absolutely secure, we cannot guarantee 100% security.
Your data stays with us. We only share information with our shipping partners or payment service provider when necessary for your order. With your consent, Google also receives usage data for our audience measurement (see “Google Analytics”).
Only if you allow analytics cookies in the cookie banner do we load Google Analytics 4 via Firebase, a service of Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC; without your consent no analytics code is loaded. It records the pages you visit with their title but without any parameters from the address bar except campaign identifiers such as utm_source, the referring page, page loading measurements, clicks on phone, email or map links (only the kind of link, never the number or address), a successful submission of the contact form (without its content), and your approximate region, device type and browser. This gives us pseudonymous usage statistics: your browser is recognised by a random identifier in a cookie, not by your name; we do not measure account, sign-in, order or newsletter pages. In the shop we also record cards viewed, items added to or removed from the cart, opening the cart and starting an order, each with article number, name, size, price and quantity, but never your card text or photos. Once an order is paid, our server reports the purchase with order number, amount, shipping cost and items directly to Google Analytics, linked to your browser's random identifier and to the visit in which you ordered. This happens only if you had consented to analytics when you ordered; your name, address, email address and payment details are never transmitted, and purchases at our market stall are not reported. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. For visitors from Switzerland and the EU the data is collected on servers in the EU; any transfer to Google LLC in the USA is based on the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Google is certified. You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer; the withdrawal takes effect immediately.
We only store your data as long as necessary for your orders or as legally required. After that, it is securely deleted. The copies of sent e-mails in our sending queue are deleted automatically after one year.
